Jefferson Parish Inspector General Groundwork Begins

Cameron Henry has filed House Bill 670, which would help clear the path for Jefferson Parish to establish an inspector generals office. The new law would remove barriers in state law that complicate the process of establishing the watchdog office. "What we can do is clear the way so if they decide to take whatever action it is, they don't have to wait for us," Henry said. "I wanted to clear any doubt and give them as much room to work as possible."
